FAQ about CT PT Ampere Characteristic Tester
Why is the VA characteristic test required for the CT/PT VA characteristic tester?
The VA characteristic test reflects the excitation performance and saturation characteristics of the transformer core. By analyzing the excitation curve and knee-point voltage, it is possible to determine whether the transformer has core anomalies, winding faults, or performance degradation, providing a reliable basis for relay protection and metering systems.
What are the advantages of the CT/PT VA characteristic tester?
Compared with traditional testing methods, the CT/PT VA characteristic tester offers advantages such as a high degree of automation, fast test speed, high measurement accuracy, intelligent data analysis, and automatic report generation. It effectively improves on-site testing efficiency and reduces human errors.
What factors may affect the accuracy of test results?
Test results may be affected by factors such as wiring methods, contact resistance, ambient temperature, power supply stability, transformer condition, and equipment calibration status. Standardized operation, proper grounding, and regular calibration of the equipment help obtain more accurate and reliable test data.
6、Individually opening the equipment may lead to permanent damage.
